The Doctor was based at Weatherfield General and was head of the medical team that cared for Ted Page following a heart attack in June 2009.
Ted had foiled Gary Windass whilst he was committing a burglary (set up by David Platt) at Audrey Roberts's house and collapsed in pain shortly after alerting David and Joe McIntyre of the incident.
The doctor appeared to be pleased with Ted's progress and told him that he would be kept in hospital for a few days whilst they ran tests and monitored him to ensure that he didn't suffer another attack. She advised that her patient should get lots of rest, didn't have too many visitors and would be back to check on him again later.
