This unnamed Doctor was one of the medical team who cared for Gail Platt in March 2008 when she was admitted to Weatherfield General, having been found lying motionless at the bottom of the stairs of 8 Coronation Street by her mother, Audrey Roberts. Gail's son David had pushed her in a fit of rage, following an argument over Tina McIntyre's abortion. Pleased with Gail's progress, the doctor saw no reason why she couldn't be discharged by the end of the week - as long as she'd got someone to help at home. He advised that she might need the use of a wheelchair for a while but with regards to Gail's amnesia, it wasn't certain when, if at all, her memory of the incident would return.
