Dinesh Sharma was the father of Maya Sharma and, together with wife Ann Marie, met her fiancé Dev Alahan when the two became engaged in February 2004. He watched as his wife immediately started questioning Dev about his job and himself. He looked stunned at the onslaught, to the amusement of Dinesh who warned Dev about the wild women in his family.
