"I come from a family of water lovers" - Dickie
Dickie is a boatman of Tatlock Towers who takes people in his boat across a large river to reach the castle. He gave Mary Taylor and Norris Cole a ride across the waters, but Norris was worried as Dickie looked familiar to the late serial killer Richard Hillman.
Dickie the Boatman featured in the spin-off DVD Coronation Street: A Knight's Tale released in 2010. He was played by Brian Capron, who was well remembered for playing serial killer Richard Hillman several years previously. According to an interview with actor Brian Capron, Dickie is the cousin of Richard Hillman.
