Diane Elizabeth Beck (born 28th February 1976 in Stockport) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- PC Reid, investigating the disappearance of Danny Baldwin in December 2006
- An obstetrician at Weatherfield General, who examined Sinead Tinker, having experienced bleeding in early pregnancy during October 2018
- A doctor attending Carla Connor, hospitalised with sepsis in January 2025.
She graduated from RADA in 1997.
Her other credits include roles in Peak Practice, The Broker's Man, Wing and a Prayer, Tipping the Velvet, William and Mary, Making Waves, Murphy's Law, Doctors, Bulletproof and Boat Story, along with the films Eastern Promises and First Time Loser.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Macbeth for the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Good Hope for the National Theatre. Other works include Measure for Measure, Top Girls, Brontë (as Emily Brontë), Glass Eels, Love Song of the Electric Bar and The Genesis Project.
She is also a qualified coach, trainer, speaker and hypnotherapist.
