Delroy Brown (born in Birmingham) is an actor of both stage and screen and appeared on Coronation Street in July 2009 as Mike Richardson - father of teenager Ben.
Prior to becoming a full-time actor he worked in nursing, focusing on fulfilling the needs of his community, most specifically in the area of mental health.
His other TV and film credits include roles in Doctors, Waterloo Road, Tracy Beaker Returns, Hustle, Hollyoaks, Postcode, Scott & Bailey, Emmerdale, Bedlam and Casualty, whilst on stage he has appeared in productions of Huckleberry Finn, Othello, Of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, Dick Whittington and The Impossible Dream.
