Deborah Fairfax (born 1951 in Southampton) appeared on Coronation Street in March 1991 as Dr Summers, who examined Alf Roberts on behalf of his worried wife, Audrey.
Her other credits include roles in Marked Personal, Zodiac, Justice, Couples, The Crezz, Terry and June, Chocky, A Bit of a Do, Emmerdale and El C.I.D.
On stage, she had roles in Summerfolk, Richard II and The Marquis of Keith, all for the Royal Shakespeare Company.
She is married to actor Robert Whelan, who himself appeared on Coronation Street in five roles.
