David Westbrook (born 1st February 1957) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- Doctor Hawkins, who briefly attended a terminally-ill Alma Halliwell in June 2001
- Solicitor Dean Pomfrey, appearing intermittently between October 2003 and March 2004
- A registrar at Weatherfield General who oversaw Tony Gordon's medical care following a heart attack in October 2009.
He graduated from Sheffield University in English and Drama.
His other credits include roles in Liverpool 1, Out of Sight, Emmerdale, Heartbeat, Nature Boy, Cold Feet, Rescue Emergency, Waterloo Road, Stepping Up, DCI Banks, Prisoners Wives, Dilemmas.
On stage, he appeared in productions including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Woyzeck, The Merchant of Venice, Pride and Prejudice, Alice in Boogie Wonderland, Macbeth, The Dumb Waiter, A Chorus of Disapproval, The Glee Club, Much Ado About Nothing, The Devil's Chord, The Emperor's New Clothes and Dear Santa.
He also has extensive experience in voice overs, corporate video, roleplay and forum theatre.
