David Glover (born 24th September 1927 in London, died 16th February 2015 also in London) appeared in Coronation Street in January 1964 as television producer Tony Leonard.
His other television credits include roles in The Marriage Lines, The Avengers, On the Line, The Bill, Maigret, Casualty, The Amazing Mrs Pritchard, Lewis and Sense & Sensibility.
Film roles include The Ipcress File, Carry on Follow That Camel, Princess Caraboo, Shooting Fish and the acclaimed 1969 film Kes.
On stage, he appeared in numerous productions including A Tale of Two Spaceman, Death of a Salesman, Arsenic and Old Lace, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Duchess of Malfi, Tamburlaine, The Government Inspector, Let's Get a Divorce, The Seagull, Forty Years On, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, The Importance of Being Earnest, Cyrano de Bergerac, Single Spies and a revival of the Bill Kenwright production of Present Laughter.
