David Daker (born Colin David Daker, 29th September 1935 in Bilston, West Midlands) played two separate roles on Coronation Street: Basil Griffin in December 1968 and January 1969. He returned to the programme as Rovers' relief manager Gordon Lewis making sporadic appearances between February 1981 and January 1985.

His other credits include Hadleigh, Porridge, Doctor Who, Only Fools and Horses and the 1981 film Time Bandits.
