David Buxton was the designer on 39 episodes of Coronation Street from March to July 1979 and July 1988 to March 1989 including one episode co-credited with Amanda McArthur.

He also worked on How's Your Father, Yanks Go Home, The Ghosts of Motley Hall, Get It Together, The Spoils of War (written by John Finch), Strangers, Foxy Lady, Travelling Man, Bulman, Lost Empires (for which he was nominated for a BAFTA Award) and Children's Ward.
