David Boyce (born 19th February 1945 in Bebington, Cheshire) appeared in Coronation Street in November 1985 as Nobby Fletcher, a fellow patient of Jack Duckworth's when he was hospitalised with a broken ankle after falling off his window-cleaning ladder.

He began his career as a drummer for The Roadrunners in Liverpool but later branched into acting, also appearing in Criminal Connections, a second season episode of the spin-off The Brothers McGregor.

In addition, he appeared in Z Cars, Juliet Bravo, Blake's 7, Albion Market, Brookside, Making Out, Stay Lucky, The Bill, Medics, Heartbeat, Minder, Casualty, McCallum, Reckless and Pie in the Sky.

Film roles include All the Fun of the Fair, The Rainbow Thief, The Pope Must Diet, Carry on Columbus and Anchoress.

On stage he has played parts for the Young Vic, Stratford East, Gate Dublin, The Crucible in Sheffield, Everyman Theatre in Liverpool, Duke's Theatre in Lancaster, Belgrade Theatre in Coventry, Theatre Royal York, Playhouse Leeds, Gateway Chester and the Arts Centre in Hull.
