Dave King (23rd June, 1929 - 15th April, 2002) was a British actor and comedian who played Bernard Lane on Coronation Street in 1978, and Clifford Duckworth, Jack's brother, from 1994 to 1995. His other credits include The Sweeney, Minder and Rumpole of the Bailey and an appearance in the film A Long Good Friday as a corrupt policeman. As well as acting Dave King charted five singles on the charts in the 1950s including the No.5 hit Memories are made of this.
