Daisy Todd was the mother of Jack Todd.

Since 1914, Daisy's home had been overrun by her son, daughter-in-law Vi and their three children Jim Sally and Dot. By the time they moved out in 1926, after Vi's mother Ivy Makepiece secured them the tenancy of 9 Coronation Street, their number had grown to include two whippets and twelve rabbits so Daisy was relieved when they left. During the Depression in 1930, Daisy used her state pension to help feed her grandchildren after Jack lost his job.

Daisy's home was destroyed in the Christmas Blitz of 1940, she moved into No.9 taking the vacant room left by Jim while he was serving in the war. She would remain living in the house until her death in summer 1943, she left the world just as the Todds received a new addition in the form of Sally's son Clark.

Daisy first appeared in Daran Little and Bill Hill's "Weatherfield Life", published in 1992, however she was referred to as "Kelly". Other information is derived from Little's follow-up book, "Around the Coronation Street Houses".
Daisy's home is given as 16 Mawdsley Street in Weatherfield Life but 7 Mawdsley Street in Around the Coronation Street Houses.
