Craig Lines was born on 24th September 1959 in Wallsend. He began his television career in the late 1980s with documentaries and short films. Moving to drama he was worked on Doctors, Byker Grove, Emmerdale, Bad Girls and Hollyoaks. He directed five episodes of Coronation Street in January 2003.
