	An excellent article. Additions to the biography and relationships in the last two years make any suggestions seem petty - about the only thing that seems missing is an Audrey relationship sub-section as they were getting close after Deirdre passed away and this isn't covered anywhere. The background information is the main part where it falls down as it only skims the surface and is formatted as bullet points which we don't do anymore. Employment history also missing. Otherwise, some of the best work on the site that reflects the importance of the topic.
Gail Rodwell							Major work needed (19/12/21)
	A lengthy article with a lot of merit. There are niggling issues with most sections though. Starting with the biography, some storylines such as Martin's affair with Rebecca Hopkins and her marriage to Brian that require expansion, the Richard Hillman saga omits Richard's motivation for the murders, and an update is needed for the past two years. Personality is focused on Gail's early years and marriages. Relationships is generally good but missing sub-sections on all of her children and husbands. BGI runs through the main beats but the lack of book sources suggests the author did not have these to hand, so this can be massively expanded. Moreover, this is a high importance character article that emphasises some storylines and skirts over others, has info in the biography that could be moved (the amount of detail in Lewis's 2018 return for example - Gail has been on the sidelines for several years now and this is more Audrey's storyline, does it really need to be here?). It's an article that would benefit from going over by a single author who can decide on a structure upfront, pick which storylines go where, and redraft it but sympathetically, keeping as much as they can.

	Biography in good shape, hitting nearly all the major beats with the only omissions being Steve's affair with Becky and his sale of the Rovers to Stella, plus everything after Ruairi's birth. No Personality, Relationships, Hobbies, only one image, and a scant Background Information so still a lot of work needed. Address list is complete.
Kevin Webster							Work needed (5/7/18)
	Good but out-of-date. An update tag has been added for info after 2018, covering Debbie's return and the Abi years. Debbie and Abi could do with relationship sections as well though with appendices and hobbies now completed, personality is the only section not started.
Audrey Roberts							Major work needed (17/12/21)
	Biography is in terrific shape until we hit 1995. Editors should concentrate their efforts on 1995 to the present day and don't be afraid to chuck away what's already there as there are storylines omitted (Alf's death, battles over the salon with David) or given lip service (Alnma's death, her relationships with Fred and Archie), with Lewis's 2018 return excessively detailed. Beginning afresh would likely be the easier option here. No other sections written apart from one line of background information.
David Platt							Work needed (15/12/21)
	Biography is one of the best on the site. The only omission really is his work at the salon which is only mentioned briefly. Apart from the background information, all sections have a good amount of content. Personality is good, but Relationships repeats too much from the biography, as well as being a touch too plot-heavy - here is where we mention the side-stories such as his and Kylie's battle with Audrey for the salon in 2012 and David finding Ivy's diary in 2006, even one or two non-essentials which could be moved from the biography to trim that section down. As the section name implies, these are meant to illustrate what David's key relationships are and how they've evolved through the years.
Roy Cropper							Work needed (17/7/21)
	In spite of having only two ticks, this article is in fairly good shape. Roy's biggest storylines are well covered in the biography, though the paragraphs on Tony Gordon and Robbie Sloane aren't really about Roy and belong elsewhere. The BGI is the best I've come across but both this and the biography haven't been updated in five years so have been tagged as out of date.
Leanne Battersby							Work needed (23/2/21)
	Despite having only two ticks, this article is close to completion. Both the biography and background information require updates for post-2018 and post-2009 respectively, personality is finished, three out of seven relationship sections have been tagged for expansion, and all sections after the biography require images. This will be a lot of work but for a character of Leanne's longevity, this is really good going and credit to Carterboi33 for the additions.
Tracy McDonald							Work needed (19/11/21)
	Carterboi's excellent update and expansion of this article have elevated it to being one of the best on the site, as of the end of 2018. it's been a quiet couple of years for Tracy since then so there's only really Amy's pregnancy and Tracy sleeping with Paula to add.
Tyrone Dobbs							Major work needed (24/7/21)
	Some parts of the biography concerning Tyrone and Molly's early romance and engagement are salvageable. Aside from that and the intro, there's nothing to see here. Ten freaking years since the last update! 2021 UPDATE: Addresses after 1998 and employment after 2008 are now present
Fiz Stape							Major work needed (19/12/21)
	The biography trails off around mid-2011. I've deleted a section concerning the Maria texting storyline from 2014 as it belongs in Relationships, once that's been created - it can recovered from the edit history then. Pre-2011 is fine although storylines from 2007 onwards are recapped in much more detail than earlier ones and there's no backstory included - her upbringing, bullying of Molly, early encounters with John Stape, there's lots that could go here. Background information is a fraction of the size it should be.
Sarah Barlow							Major work needed (15/2/21)
	Biography is two thirds there - the amount of detail is exactly right, and it's not too weighted towards recent storylines. More on the Lynsay King years and an update for the last four years will make up the remaining third. Apart from that, there's only one image in the article body and a small background information. A minor update to to residences is needed and most of her employment history is missing.
Eileen Grimshaw							Major work needed (26/8/21)
	Aside from the intro, this hasn't been updated since 2010. The biography goes into detail on a handful of storylines (baby Holly, relationship with Jesse Chadwick, Colin's death) and ignores others. No other sections written.
Nick Tilsley							Major work needed (28/12/21)
	Bravo! Excellent biography. There's still a lack of clarity about where Nick is living and working especially in the pre-Bistro days but the storylines that aren't mentioned such as Nick's relationships with Natasha and Eva don't really belong there anyway so that's fine. It needs updating for 2019 onwards which covers a lot of material though. Background information covers the mean beats and no more and as ever there are no personality, relationships, and appendices has a complete address list but only 2017 onwards for the employment history.
Sean Tully							Major work needed (28/12/21)
	Biography is off to a good start. The Violet/Dylan storyline and Sean's homelessness are covered well enough although his relationships with Marcus and Billy are very much skirted over. Then there's the every other section to write from scratch, of course. I've tagged it as having major work required but it's one of the better ones in that category.
Maria Connor							Major work needed (12/7/21)
	Three paragraphs on 2000-2006, skirting over major storylines including most of her relationship with Tyrone (no proposal atop Blackpool Tower, no living with Jack and Vera, no mention of how they met). The following ten years are covered in more detail but could do with a redraft to cut extraneous info and sharpen up the the writing. Biography runs out at 2016, only other sections started are the background information and appendices. The work history is complete as is the address list post-2007, but the BGI is in worse shape with three fairly random stories included and no essentials such as Samia's casting and how her character grew from being Tyrone's girlfriend into a street regular.

	After the intro I've just written, the article is comprised solely of a biography copied from Wikipedia about ten years ago. I've added section headings and appropriate tags just so that readers don't think this is our best work! A policy I'll be adopting with the remaining articles.
Peter Barlow							Work needed (14/2/21)
	I'm passing the biography up until Peter's return in 2016 (it's most recent update), but it would benefit from more detailed 1960s and 1970s sections and, for the early 2000s, more clarity about where Peter was living and working (there's no mention of the bookies until 2008, for instance). 2008 onwards verges on too much detail at points, especially the 2015 section where Peter only appeared at Deirdre's funeral, but such info can be moved to Relationships when they're being written. The background information has been passed, though there is room for expansion there too. Nice selection of images.
Carla Barlow							Work needed (7/5/21)
	Updates needed for events since Carla's psychosis storyline in 2019. A day or two's work would finish this off.
Kirk Sutherland							Major work needed (19/12/21)
	Another one to start from scratch. The biography recaps a handful of random storylines. The background information is short but it's a start.
Chesney Brown							Major work needed (29/3/21)
	Biography begins rather abruptly with Chesney's first appearance. His early years are well covered (though the Sophie/Cameron McIntyre and Out of Africa paragraphs are not really relevant. Possibly the John Stape storyline as well). Detail trails off in more recent years but the only major omissions are his schooling and bullying, his work at the market (granted, it was hardly ever seen), his work at the kebab shop and the more recent stuff with Gemma and Emma. As things stand it's one of the better biographies. The page is hurt by the lack of any other sections though.
Gary Windass							Major work needed (30/12/21)
	Notdoppler did a fantastic job with this page back in 2016 - biography, relationships and background are all really good up to this point, but the updates don't keep up the same level of quality in either the style of writing or attention to detail (for example, Gary and Sarah had split up by the time of Rick's death which doesn't match the chronology on the page). Feel free to delete these updates and start again, doing proper research beforehand in order to make sure that nothing important gets missed out.
Toyah Battersby							Major work needed (25/2/21)
	Biography is only fractionally more detailed than the introduction, as well as being two and a half years out of date. A full rewrite is in the cards.
Todd Grimshaw							Major work needed (26/8/21)
	The biography is good from about 2007 to 2015 but severely lacking in detail before and after that, with a jump straight from the 2015 live episode to Todd's 2017 exit and no mention of Billy Mayhew at all. The background information has been started but, as usual, it only covers the basics.
Tim Metcalfe							Work needed (4/12/21)
	This was written in 2015 but besides being out-of-date, it's excessively detailed for the simple reason that Tim has been around for double the length of time now and the level of detail lessens the more long-running the character is. A relationship sub-section for Geoff Metcalfe is a definite and possibly Elaine as well. As well as the main update since 2015, the biography needs an addition to the first section for Tim's childhood which we know more about now.
Jenny Connor							Work needed (8/5/21)
	Up-to-date as of its last MOT in November 2019. Update tags added to biography and the Johnny relationship which are the areas to focus on.
Mary Taylor							Major work needed (20/12/21)
	Biography is in terrific shape until mid-2010 but there are whole years missing after this with no mention of Mary losing her motor home or working for Tracy. It's considerably out of date as well with the last update being in early 2017. As for the rest of the article, BGI is missing casting info (at the bare minimum) and relationships has very little in it too. It does have full Appendices though so that's something.

Beth Sutherland							Major work needed (19/12/21)
	There's not much here worth keeping. The biography covers Beth's arrival up until she started dating Kirk but even that's missing her coming to work at Underworld so the entire section will have to be checked over for omissions. Since then we've met her family and found out about Darryl Parkins, we know enough now for a redraft to start from Beth's birth. Two of the three points in the background information relate only to Beth the character. Address list is complete for Beth's time in the programme, but employment history only goes from 2018 onwards.
Simon Barlow							Work needed (15/2/21)
	Pascal11 wrote this article several years ago and did a damn good job with it. The biography up to 2016 doesn't need to be touched so I have added an 'update' tag for everything afterwards - the Tyler storylines, Oliver's death, looking after Leanne, and the current drugs storyline. Other sections are as bitty as everyone else's. Residences missing everything pre-2018. Main image badly needs updated as well.
Izzy Armstrong							Major work needed (20/1/21)
	Biography is very good up until the end of the surrogacy storyline. After this, it becomes more about Gary with paragraphs on his fake death and one-night-stand with Nicola having even though they've got buggar all to do with Izzy.
Adam Barlow							Major work needed (24/1/21)
	"Serviceable" about sums it up. A thin biography trails off in 2017, and a minimalist background section covers the 'what' while leaving out the 'why'. The address list is complete though which was a nice surprise. Even though I'd classify the pre-2017 biography as adequate, every line of it needs expansion so, in effect, this will need a complete rewrite.
Faye Windass							Major work needed (30/12/21)
	Biography is not too bad, there are gaps though namely Faye's backstory, gaining contact with Tim, and everything between meeting Seb and joining the bistro. Appendices are complete, no other sections started.
Ryan Connor							Major work needed (16/7/21)
	Storylines are either covered well (the baby swap, 2012-13 stint, relationship with Bethany) or bypassed (backstory, arrival in Weatherfield, 2010 departure). Hopefully, this means that a complete biography is just a matter of plugging the holes. BGI, though brief, is only really missing Ryan's initial introduction. No images, peronality or relationships and the appendices are out of date. So it isn't horrible.
Daniel Osbourne							Major work needed (14/12/21)
	The period up to Daniel's return in 2016 is well documented, but it very much stops there.

	The biography adequately covers Alya's first four years, minus images and an introductory paragraph going over Alya's early life including her studies. The appendices and background information have been started but are nowhere near comprehensive. The last two years and all other sections still to be written. Address list is complete but employment history only has the bistro and Speed Daal.
Billy Mayhew							Major work needed (7/11/21)
	The biography is a random collection of side-stories - Billy and Sean meeting the homophobic landlord in the Peak District, the modern slavery storyline - worth a mention in the article, but not in Billy's biography. The parts that form the core of his story - everything with Todd, Summer, and his brother Lee - are brushed over with a minimum of detail. Sadly this looks like another one we'll have to start from scratch.
Johnny Connor							Work needed (8/5/21)
	A biography that's off to a good start, especially the oft-brushed over backstory. The MS storyline is missing and it needs an update for everything after July 2018, including the revelations about his involvement with Scott Emberton. Johnny's address list is complete, though not his employment history.
Gemma Winter							Major work needed (31/12/21)
	Comprehensive coverage of Gemma's "guest star" period in the biography - this should be combined into one section and trimmed now that Gemma has been around a while. The section runs up to 2016 when Gemma was taken on at the kebab shop so a lot of ground to cover still. The background information is nearly finished, depending on how much there is to say about her more recent storylines - Chesney, the quads, the introductions of Bernie and Paul.
Yasmeen Nazir							Major work needed (4/12/21)
	A background information section only giving the basics of her introduction and a biography that plucks random events out of thin air to mention pre-2016 and is sketchy after that. I could go into more detail but there's nothing here worth saving sans the intro.
Craig Tinker							Major work needed (28/12/21)
	Most sections have something in them now that the 'Other Information' has been broken up, nevertheless this article has major omissions. Taking the biography - it mentions Craig meeting Caitlin but says nothing further about their relationship, the beginnings of Craig's interest in the police is missing, as is his time cleaning windows with Tim and everything from the past four years. Gaps that will leap out at anyone reading it. Another for the total rewrite pile, salvaging what we can.
Max Turner							Major work needed (28/12/21)
	Only Max's debut storyline with Kylie selling him to Becky is covered in detail, probably more than is necessary considering that Max was just a child and therefore not the one driving the story forward - Becky robbing the Corner Shop for example isn't really relevant here. The biography trails off after 2011 with only the start of the Callum storyline. BGI covers the recasting well enough but has nothing on the character's creation. Address list complete.
Brian Packham							Major work needed (15/12/21)
	The 2010-2015 years are on the right track, albeit a tad bloated in parts (the bit about Russ Gray can go, for sure). An update should start from Brian's 2016 return now that we can view that storyline in context of what followed. The background information is one of the longer ones but much of it is dating Brian's various comings and goings and storyline recaps - storylines should only be mentioned here if we have some production insight on them. No images, and no other sections apart from the address list, which is complete.
Cathy Matthews							Work needed (5/11/21)
	Another kitchen sink biography, with nothing in the other sections. As the information is at least on the page and well written, I make this a lower priority to rewrite. The biography does only run up to 2017 though and there are certain bits that go into detail beyond the remit of Cathy's page, such as Carla and Nick's wedding - we don't need to know what went on at the altar, all that matters is that Carla hit Cathy with her car.
Shona Platt							Major work needed (15/12/21)
	Biography is three years out of date, covering everything up to David's rape storyline. Everything else as indicated above.
Abi Franklin							Major work needed (15/8/21)
	A character who first appeared in Oct 2017 has a 2930-word biography that only takes us up to February 2019. Did some calculations and if Ken Barlow's article covered time so glacially, his biography would be longer than three Harry Potter books. Please, please condense! We have episode pages for the nitty gritty details - that isn't what these pages are for. In particular, the parts involving her time in prison with Sally (the fact that she was in prison and befriended Sally there, yes, everything else no), the boat fire (she was innocent, so this should be dealt with in one paragraph), and her kiss with Steve (relevant, but too long). In addition to the unwritten sections and two years of updates, this is going to be a big job not far short of from writing an entirely new article.

Zeedan Nazir							Work work needed (13/12/21)
	No significant gaps in Zeedan's first two years but it's very thin on detail, more of a bulletized list of events than full paragraphs. I doubt any of this is usable but it could serve as a checklist to make sure nothing is omitted in a rewrite. BGI has been started with only the nuts and bolts so far. There will be much more to say about Zeedan given his role in the Kana storyline.
Imran Habeeb							Major work needed (29/8/21)
	A typical example of a biography started when the character first appeared, added to as he popped up in minor roles, and abandoned about the time he became a regular. This will need a second look not just for the updates since late 2018 (when he first moved in with Toyah), but to trim what's already there, removing the storylines that don't contribute to the whole or moving them to another section, none of which have been started.
Emma Brooker							Major work needed (29/3/21)
	An article that needed trimmed and to be honest I could have taken more out - to be clear, I didn't remove anything related to Emma. It was a case of "too much information". For example, I felt Emma's story was being drowned out by details of David's rape plot which she had only a peripheral involvement in. Also needs updated for events since autumn 2018. The background information has the essentials in amongst puff quotes promoting the current storyline which are not very interesting. Quotes should give readers insight into either the writing or performance of the character.
Aadi Alahan							Major work neeeded (9/1/22)
	Barely touched since the last update. Aadi had a busy 2021 so the amount of work to finish this page has doubled, with no mention of Summer, the crash, his entrepreneurship, Kelly, or the Corey climax. His shop manager titles mean an employment history is now possible as well.

	A couple of paragraphs have been written covering the hate crime storyline, making this virtually up-to-date in that sense, but there are a lot of gaps. The telltale sign is that there things mentioned in the intro which are missing from the bio, such as Nina's design work with Underworld - okay, not much screentime has been devoted to it, but a good biography has to mention what Nina does for a living. Her relationship with Asha is glossed over as well.

	Biography is just a recap of Michael's history with Grace plus the Tianna twist, but manages not to mention that Grace wasn't Tianna's mother. Apart from the intro and appendices, this is another blank slate.

	Biography is in good shape though key storylines could be expanded, namely the Wendy Crozier affair, Deirdre and Ken's bitter divorce, the Weatherfield One, Ken and Deirdre's re-marriage and Ray's death. These are mentioned, but the first few especially are critical to Deirdre's story. There are brief personality, hobbies and role in the community section and relationships that are so thin they might just as well be deleted - these really bring the article down. Background information is superb though and gets a strong pass. Appendices are half done with just the jobs to fill out.

BGI is much too short for a character of Mike's standin, saying nothing about the character pre-2004, and no other sections have been started.

	A lot of work has gone into the page and there's some good writing here. Nevertheless, there are gaps in the biography, notably where Sophie's sexuality is discovered and most of Sophie and Maddie's relationship. It also gets a tad too detailed in the latter sections which cover her romance with Paula Martin (and yet, very little about Sophie's involvement in Sally's court case). There are quite a few tangents which belong elsewhere, such as the Ronan Truman subplot and the Rovers fire (which barely concerned Sophie). The relationship section isn't divided up into subsections and mostly regurtitates the broad strokes already written into the biography. This could be wiped and started from scratch without losing anything. As a whole, it's good enough that I haven't added the 'major cleanup' but it's on the cusp.

Relationship sections on Callum and Nathan went over the same ground as the Biography hence their removal but Craig does deserve one. I only took it off because it was one sentence long which would have caused the article to be downgraded. Another image or two in the latter sections would spruce it up too.

The 2011 storyline of Eileen stealing from Owen is one that didn't really amount to anything and could go elsewhere, perhaps Personality as it came during Owen's 'villain' phase. But this would be very much a matter of whittling down what's there rather than a full rewrite. Other sections are slim, as usual.

The background information is a good length but apart from the quote from Kate Oates it's just recapping the storylines Phelan was involved with, and not telling us anything insightful. 	One of the oldest articles on the site, written at a time when the objective was get the raw facts down as quickly as possible and move on to the next character. Nothing's left out, but Norman's return isn't given the weight it's due, and no mention is made of the difficulties she faced running the shop by herself. Overall, it's just not written with the familiarity that a good biography needs to be. BGI is too short as well - a lack of resources in 2008 means that there's no inside info or quotes on either Betty Alberge's casting or axing, when we have a wealth of both nowadays.

	Some key omissions hold the biography back from Good status - Karl's gambling storyline isn't covered in depth, nor Stella kicking him out. If they're important enough to be mentioned in the intro, they should definitely be in the biography. Bio is a little choppily written too. Otherwise, the BGI is short but covers the main beats, and the appendices are complete. Good selection of images as well. All in all, it needs work but is still one of the better ones.

	I think I've reached breaking point with these articles that need going over with a fine toothcomb and where every single sentence has grammatical errors. It's a waste of my time making these fixes, and anyone reading would give up long before the end anyway. Major cleanup tags will have to do for now, on every section. It's honestly difficult to ascertain what's missing, because the way it's written, the text vaguely alludes to events but lacks key details - eg. "Rana shared an emotional moment with Kate after she crashed her wedding reception." - What emotional moment? What happened and what were the consequences? If there weren't any, why mention it? "She didn't tell her mum the truth for a while and that led to her moving out." - Who moved out? Of where? Why? Or is just plain contradictory: "[Rana] confessed to Zeedan that she was in love with someone else. Rana got outed by Kate to Zeedan" - So who outed Rana? Was it Kate or did she do so herself? I'm going on a bit but I've had it up to here with these Frankenstein's monsters of a biography. If this is your work, please be a stranger. Personality and Background get major cleanup tags too, the former because it drops plot elements in with no context (the contract, Speed Daal), the latter because the "bury your gays" complaint is given too much credence considering Bhavna Limbachia herself asked to be killed off. Include it, but frame it as a baseless complaint, and name the complainer (it was Russell T Davies - he even has a page here).

Sam's attitude to sex should be emphasized more as well. These character beats are essential to a good biography of Samantha, which is why I've stuck a major cleanup tag on there.

	Two things wrong with the biography - one is that 2012 is covered by a single sentence, the other is that it's told from the perspective of a viewer, perserving Paul's secret until the point where it was revealed within the show. As a biography telling the story of Paul's life, this is the wrong to write it and Lesley needs introducing earlier. Appendices are complete, background covers Paul's introduction and exit well enough except for the mention of a rumour that Paul would be killed off in an explosive storyline - this must be sourced as rumours can be confused with speculation.

The biography is a hodgepodge which reads like it's written by half a dozen people, with the final section, on Joe's death, being another scene-by-scene description that doesn't belong in a biography - the odd crucial scene, maybe, but not entire episodes. BGI has a cleanup tag as it needs sources, especially the quote from "doctors" and the bit about Reece Dinsdale's typecast fears.

	One of my earliest efforts and one I'm really not happy with now. At the time I was powering through the early characters, including the ones I hadn't seen much of and I think that's clear from this article. It doesn't add anything to the bare-bones plot synopses we started out with, and as such misses key details such as how Sheila's relationship with Neil Crossley changed her, and her dissatisfaction with Jerry, things that you don't pick up on when you simply regurgitate the events chronologically. There's mileage for a relationships section too and a background that expands on the suicide storyline using quotes from The Corrie Years - it was the show's biggest moment that year and deserves a deep dive. Her June 1969 appearance needs a mention somewhere as well - in an Elsie section?

Remember, it has to work as a piece of prose in of itself. I can't see anything that is missing, though. BGI has a single sentence and nothing else on the page. Most of it is fine, but there are a handful of storylines that need going through in more detail - her introductory scenes for one; why did Ellen Page need seeing off? And how did Jacko track her down? Ritchie Levitt is not mentioned, nor is her lie to Maggie that Jacko was in a miners home and this nearly causing her to leave the shop. There's enough on the cutting room floor for a Maggie relationship too, such as her writing the ad in a newspaper personal column. Her 1974 appearance is very tacked on too with no details of her wedding date. BGI should also mention her disappearance without an exit, and sources for what's there now.

My only piece of advice is that the Tricia sub-section concentrates almost entirely on Jamie and his mother's closeness, when he had his share of naughty moments as well so there is potential for a second paragraph to add those. Background Information is looking good as well, showing that you did your research.

	Article is a personality and full background section away from Good status, but for a character who made only 94 appearances, it is bloated beyond belief and could do with condensing. If we were to make the biography more personal to Angie, there are parts that could naturally be removed - for example, Angie wasn't even present for Jude's final appearances in 2019 so there shouldn't be more than a couple of sentences devoted to it. The biography is full of things like that as it strives to be all-encompassing. Relationships shows a complete misunderstanding of what that section is too and merely regurgitates the biography. It's a problematic page but we have bigger fish to fry so it'll do for now.
