Collette Cooper appeared on Coronation Street in May 2002 as Carol Mills, who along with her daughter Stephanie, got friendly with Jason Grimshaw and Kirk Sutherland while holidaying in Blackpool.
Her other television credits include roles in Playing the Field, Nice Guy Eddie, Doctors, Casualty and The Courtroom.
Film roles include An Angel at My Table, 24 Hour Party People, Murder in Mind, Flim: The Movie, Set the Thames on Fire, Carnage and You Can Tutu.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Henry IV, The Merchant of Venice, Macbeth, Arsenic and Old Lace, Titus Andronicus, The Stronger, Sex Cells and Wounds.
Also a singer/songwriter, her debut album "City of Sin" was released in 2015 and she performed at several London fashion, charity and awards shows. She also does work on Nick Grimshaw's Breakfast Show and has re-recorded the novelty song "Selfie" with Scarlett Johansson for BBC Radio.
