Colin Rees designed 36 episodes of Coronation Street from April to July 1968 and June to July 1983. For the first six of these, his credit was in TV Times only as location designer during the period when the construction of the new Maisonettes was taking place on-screen in the Grape Street set and it is therefore presumed that had a part in their eventual appearance and layout.
He worked for Granada Television from 1968 to 1985 and also designed for Mr. Rose, A Family at War , The Comedians, Adam Smith, Shabby Tiger, Village Hall, Strangers, The Spoils of War, The Cuckoo Waltz and The Glamour Girls.
