The Court Clerk officiated at the trial of Jez Quigley for the murder of Tony Horrocks in August 2000.
He obtained the oaths from the principle witnesses who included Steve McDonald, Natalie Barnes and the defendant himself, and at the conclusion obtained the verdict of "not guilty" from the jury foreman.
