Clegg Street was a street in Weatherfield.

Clegg Street was the childhood home of Bet Lynch, where she lived until around the age of seventeen.

Betty Preston and Cyril Turpin were married at St John's in the Wilderness church on Clegg Street sometime after 1950.

Also home to Doreen Warburton, the maternal aunt of Jenny Bradley was asked to house her niece when her mother Pat was killed in a hit and run accident on Albert Road in January 1986. When Doreen claimed she was unable to take Jenny in as she had three children of her own at home to look after, social worker Don Worthington became involved in arranging foster care.

Clegg Street also housed a bookmakers shop where Kevin Webster placed a successful bet on behalf of Des Barnes in March 1990.
