Claudette Munro was a "friend" of Kirk Sutherland's who worked at Toni's chip shop on Rosamund Street (later Wong's Chippy) who he invited to the party he and Jason Grimshaw were holding for the latter's birthday at 5 Coronation Street in July 2002.
Considering the girl to be "dead rough", Jason was not pleased at Kirk's invite. That night, Claudette and four of her friends turned up in the street only to knock on the door of No.3 by mistake. Having already complained about the noise coming from next door, Norris Cole saw his advantage and directed the group to Coronation Terrace, on the other side of Victoria Street, where he claimed Kirk lived. The party turned out to be a damp squib.
