Clare Calbraith (born 1st January 1974 in Winsford, Cheshire) worked as an accountant for many years after leaving school but realised that it was not making her happy so applied and went to drama school in Cardiff. Clare's first big TV role was as Dr Tricia Summerbee in Yorkshire Television's Heartbeat which she played from 2000 until she left in June 2002.

In Coronation Street she played Robyn, the girlfriend of Martin Platt, between September and November 2005.

Other credits include roles in 55 Degrees North, Holby City, EastEnders, Doctors, Inspector George Gently, The Bill, Downton Abbey, Vera and Casualty.
