Claire Hackett appeared in Coronation Street in April 2016 as Anne Dutton, the wife of council bigwig Gerald Dutton. She returned to the programme in June 2021 as Tonya, a mediator called in by Tyrone Dobbs to assist in making his split from Fiz Stape more amicable.
She trained at RADA and has also appeared in William Tell, Growing Rich, Between the Lines, Gallowglass, Medics, Casualty, Screen Two, Cracker, Always and Everyone, At Home with the Braithwaites, The Cazalets, Merseybeat, Where the Heart Is, Silent Witness, Poirot, The Street, Blue Murder, Holby City, Moving On, The Bill, Waterloo Road, Line of Duty, Emmerdale, Doctors and Holby City.
Film roles are Dancin' Thru the Dark, Liam, All My Sons and Apostasy.
On stage, she has appeared in roles in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, A Collier’s Friday Night, A Streetcar Named Desire, Blue, Twelfth Night, Jane Eyre, Hamlet, All My Sons, The Winter's Tale and East is East.
