Christine Mackie (born "Christine A. Waterhouse") appeared on Coronation Street in four roles:
- A nurse based at Blackpool's Victoria Hospital where Rita Fairclough was briefly admitted in December 1989
- Chris Jones, a tutor at the School of Nursing, appearing between April and May 1992
- Salsa dancing instructor Bella in May 2010
- Dr Susan Gaddas of Rosamund Street Medical Centre, appearing intermittently since August 2014.
She graduated from Rose Bruford College in 1978.
Her other credits include roles in French and Saunders, Children's Ward, September Song, Heartbeat, The Grand, Casualty, This Is Personal: The Hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper, Doctors, Wire in the Blood, Fat Friends, Bodies, Outlaws, Hollyoaks, Holby City, Downton Abbey, My Phone Genie, The A Word and The Chelsea Detective, along with the 2023 film The Siege.
On stage, she appeared in productions of The Site and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
