Christine Anderson (born 9th May 1956 in Wallsgrave, Tyne and Wear), appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: in March 1989 as Alison Whitworth, a teller at the Castlewell Building Society; and she returned to the programme as the Court clerk present at Weatherfield Magistrates Court when Sunita Alahan entered her "not guilty" plea on charges of assisting unlawful immigration and bigamy in October 2004.

Her other credits include roles in Days of Hope, When the Boat Comes In, Children's Ward, Rag Nymph, Heartbeat, Steel River Blues, Byker Grove, Emmerdale and Survivors, along with a part in the 1989 feature film Road House.
