Catherine Cusack (born 21st December 1968 in London) appeared on Coronation Street between September 1992 and March 1993 as student nurse, Carmel Finnan.
Accepted to study at Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, she became stage manager at the Tricycle Theatre in London.
Her other credits include roles in Doctor Who, Sophia and Constance, The Chief, Dressing for Breakfast, The Bill, Cadfael, Ballykissangel, Jonathan Creek, Doctors, Hollyoaks and Endeavour, along with the films The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne, Boxed, Conspiracy of Silence and Finding Neverland.
On stage, she appeared in productions of The Tutor, Germinal, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, The Seagull, Brighton Rock, Mill on the Floss, Prayers of Sherkin, Our Lady of Sligo, Blood Red, The Increased Difficulty of Concentration, Mushroom Pickers, Salt Meets Wound, Bingo, All That Fall and Passing.
Part of a famous acting family, she is the daughter of Cyril Cusack and half-sister of Niamh, Sinead and Sorcha Cusack, the latter of whom also appeared on Coronation Street.
