The Concise Oxford Dictionary says quite a bit about the word "licensee" and does not even acknowledge the existence of that Americanism "licencee". What dictionary was used to change from the really correct spelling? Robin Patterson 09:45, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
- I removed "In Great Britain and in New Zealand, and possibly in Canada, the holder of a licence is a licensee. It is believed that in the United States the holder of a license is a licencee. "Coronation Street" is broadcast to more people in Great Britain and New Zealand than in all other places combined."
