The Cashier worked at Lancashire & Fyle Building Society and was confronted by an armed Jim McDonald in April 2011. She pressed the alert button to call the police before collecting the money he asked for from the safe. She was then held hostage by Jim along with customers. After speaking to his ex wife Liz, Jim let the hostages go.
