Carrie Davies appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in December 1988 as Mrs Thompson, a social worker assigned to Deirdre Barlow in light of her recent kidnapping ordeal; and she returned to the programme in June 2004 as the registrar tasked with noting the details of the birth and death of Billy Platt.
Her other credits include roles in Lost Empires, Dead Entry, Hard Cases, Children's Ward, How We Used to Live, The Bill, Between the Lines, Heartbeat, Emmerdale, The Cops, Bernard's Watch, Bad Girls, Steel River Blues, Doctors, Rose and Maloney and Silent Witness.
On stage, she appeared in a 1989 production of A Chorus of Disapproval at the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham.
