The Caretaker looked after a building where the Jet Girl Agency rented studio space in October 1975. When Tricia Hopkins and Gail Potter, who had just signed up for a modelling course with the agency, made an impromptu visit to the studio only to find it completely empty except for the large-moustached caretaker, the confused teenagers asked him what was going on. He told them he'd seen the agency people pack up and leave but that they hadn't told him where they were going, adding that he was always in the dark about what went on.
