Whilst looking at the car, the man recognised Eileen from the television coverage of her murderous husband and the "Free Anna Windass" campaign. The opportunistic buyer asked if he could take a selfie with Eileen, but was told to back off by Eileen's neighbour and employer Steve McDonald.
Steve and Seb Franklin continued to warn the man, who still slyly took a selfie with Eileen when she wasn't looking. The man said he wouldn't buy the car anyway as the tyres were flat and that if he had taken it for a test drive, it could have killed him. He angrily berated Eileen and told her that it wasn't just her husband who was a murderer.
