Camilla Perrin was the ex-wife of Phill Whittaker.
Days before Phill and his new partner Fiz Stape were due to be married Camilla sought out her ex-husband on Coronation Street. Fiz was suspicious about Camilla's sudden reappearance and vented to her ex-partner Tyrone Dobbs whose grandmother Evelyn Plummer suspected that Phill's mother Mimi had orchestrated Camilla's arrival as she wanted to split Phill and Fiz up. However, Mimi denied this was the case and insisted she fully supported her husband's relationship with Fiz.
When Mimi suggested that Fiz should invite Camilla to her hen party at the Rovers Return, a reluctant Fiz agreed but she later regretted her decision when Camilla showcased her superior knowledge regarding Phill during a game of Mr and Mrs. As tensions began to rise between Camilla and Fiz, Camilla revealed that she had been corresponding with Phill by email and that he had told her he wanted to give their relationship another try. Fiz refused to believe Camilla and called her a bitter ex while Evelyn took the opportunity to chuck her out of the pub. Camilla headed to Speed Daal where Phill's stag do was taking place to speak to Phill. Fiz attempted to phone Phill in order to get him to straighten everything out but was surprised when his friend Graham answered and informed her that he had nipped out with Camilla.
Camilla told Phill that she too wanted to give things another go and Fiz witnessed the pair embracing. She later confronted Phill for cavorting with Camilla but he explained that he had rejected her advances and had simply been giving her a hug as she had started crying. One of Fiz's friends Maria Connor challenged him about his email correspondences and Phill admitted that the emails sent to Camilla had come from his device but that he hadn't sent them. Fiz accepted Phill's account and accused Mimi of being the one to have sent the emails. Phill sided with his wife and banished his mother from the wedding. Although Tyrone later discovered that it had been Fiz's daughter Hope Stape who had been sending them emails in an attempt to split her mother and Phill up so that she would reunite with Tyrone.
