The Builder along with his workmate were standing at the counter in Roy's Rolls in February 2008 when Becky Granger arrived back to work. She was supposed to have been going home to get showered and changed before her shift in the cafe, but had instead gone out and bought some new clothes in a sale.
Becky enjoyed friendly banter with the two men, showing off her new purchases. His mate said that she had a look of Kate Moss about her whilst he offered to scrub her back. An unimpressed Roy Cropper reprimanded Becky as the cafe was getting busy.
