Brian Hallett appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly as the Police Surgeon in attendance in the backyard of 9 Coronation Street following the sudden death of Judy Mallett in September 1999. He returned to the programme in December 2001 as a Consultant who tended to Jack Duckworth, hospitalised with a suspected heart attack.
His other credits include roles in Liverpool 1, Nice Guy Eddie and the TV movie Mersey Cop, while on stage he appeared in a 2001 production of Equus, at Oldham's Coliseum Theatre.
