Bradley Walsh was born 4th June 1960 in Watford. He started his career as a professional football for Brentford FC (which was also the club that his on-screen son Warren Baldwin played for) but an injury forced him out of the game.
An eclectic career followed including working in engineering and as a Pontin's Blue Coat in Morecambe before coming to prominence in the Royal Variety Show in 1993. Various comedic or presenting roles on television followed including The National Lottery and Des O'Connor Tonight but he also made a move into acting with roles in Lock, Stock... and a regular role in the short-lived ITV soap Night and Day between 2002 and 2003.
On Coronation Street he first appeared as Mike Baldwin's son Danny Baldwin on 31st May 2004 and quickly became something of a favourite with viewers and a major character on the programme. He made his final appearance on 31st December 2006.
