Bournemouth is a town in southern England, known as a holiday resort and host town for conferences.
Deirdre Barlow attended an environmental health conference in Bournemouth in October 1987. Keith Appleyard and Craig Harris moved there in July 2006 to live with Keith's sister Margery, however Craig wasn't happy about the move as it meant leaving his long-term girlfriend Rosie Webster behind, and soon returned alone.
