Bob Lomax was the husband of Vera Lomax and the father of Colin Lomax.
In April 1966, Bob separated from Vera due to the fact that they were in debt. Ena Sharples, Vera's mother, considered contacting the police to track Bob down so that Vera wasn't forced to pay off their debts alone - however, Vera decided to track her husband down herself. By December 1966, Bob had resurfaced and began to look after his son Colin full-time while Vera moved in with her mother due to her ill-health.
In January 1967, Vera passed away and Bob was informed. Both Bob and Colin attended Vera's funeral.
