Bettina was a belly dancer at a travelling fairground sideshow which ran in Weatherfield on the August Bank Holiday in 1961. As she incessantly chewed gum at the entrance, supposedly to attract the punters, she seemed utterly bored with her role as the barker went through his patter, insisting that his girls came from the old Nile.
- Both uncredited and non-speaking, the walk-on part is notable for being played by Sandra Gough, some two-and-a-half years before first appearing as Irma Ogden.
