Benedict Sandiford (born "Thomas Benedict Sandiford", January 1973 in Newark, Nottinghamshire) appeared on Coronation Street between August and November 2005 as Mr Lewis, a teacher at Weatherfield High.
Best known for his role of Neil Liversidge in Barbara from 1999 to 2003, his other television credits include roles in Children's Ward, Harry Enfield and Chums, Where the Heart Is, In the Name of Love, At Home with the Braithwaites, Doctors, Holby City, The Robinsons, No Angels, Survivors and Garrow's Law, along with the 1997 film Wilde.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The Final Whistle, The Great British Bump Off, The Grouch, Kafka's Dick, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Final Whistle, The Eight Foot Leap, Restoration, The Lady in the Van, Anniversary Sweet, Spring and Port Wine and In Ruins.
