Benjamin Neil Paddock Onwukwe (born 21st August 1957 in Stepney, London) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in January 2009 as the judge at Weatherfield Crown Court for the sentencing of John Stape on charges of kidnapping and false imprisonment of Rosie Webster; and he returned to the programme in March 2013 as a defence barrister, representing defendant Tyrone Dobbs, during his trial on several domestic violence charges against his former partner, Kirsty Soames.

Best known for his role as Stuart 'Recall' McKenzie in London's Burning from 1991 to 2002, his other credits include roles in Slinger's Day, Bergerac, Hard Cases, The Bill, Waiting for God, Inspector Morse, Doctor at the Top, Growing Pains, Between the Lines, Casualty, Delta Wave, Doctors, After You've Gone, Holby City, Hollyoaks Later, EastEnders, Marcella, Safe, Professor T, Death in Paradise and Hollyoaks, along with the films The Chain, American Roulette and Hero: The Extraordinary Life of Mr. Ulric Cross.

On stage, he appeared in productions of The Burning Time, Scrape Off the Black, Can't Pay? Won't Pay!, Blood Brothers, The Emperor, Andomache, The Doctor of Honour, The Winter's Tale, Pericles, The Love Girl and the Innocent and The 47th.
