Beatrice Neild appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly as a woman in the corner shop in December 1963; and she returned to the programme between February 1969 and May 1974 in the recurring role of Mrs Toft.
She also notched up numerous appearances as an extra from June 1961 onwards.
Her other credits include The Sword in the Web, Parkin's Patch, ITV Sunday Night Theatre and Village Hall.
