Barry Keegan (born "John Barry Keegan" on 12th September 1922 in Dublin, died 26th September 1977 in Paddington, London) appeared on Coronation Street between November 1965 and April 1966 as Jim Mount, telephone engineer and short-term love interest of Elsie Tanner.
With an acting CV dating back to the mid 1950s, his other television credits included a leading role as Chauncey Montgomery in Glencannon, along with parts in The Vise, Suspense, The Citadel, International Detective, The Pursuers, Z Cars, The Saint, No Hiding Place, The Troubleshooters, The Revenue Men, Softly Softly, The Onedin Line and Crown Court.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Seagulls Over Sorrento, The Changing Room, Blue White and Red and The Vegetable.
