Barney Thompson appeared in Coronation Street in May 2020 as a Weatherfield County FC fan who made homophobic comments at James Bailey.
He trained at the Manchester School of Theatre and has also appeared in the short films Pavement and The Sweet Stall. His stage roles include parts in Radicalisation Tour, Absolute Certainty?, Sanatorium Under The Sign Of The Hourglass, Red Noses, Brezhnev's Children, The Seagull and Time and The Conways.
