Barbara Ferris (born 27th July 1942 in London) appeared on Coronation Street between September and October 1961 as cockney Rovers' barmaid Nona Willis.
Her other television credits include Rush Hour, Brothers in Law, The Cheaters, Zero One, The Strauss Family, Murder at the Wedding and All in Good Faith.
On film, she appeared in Tom Thumb, A Pair of Briefs, Term of Trial, Sparrows Can't Sing, A Place to Go, The System, Catch Us If You Can, Interlude, A Nice Girl Like Me, The Krays, a leading role in Village of the Damned and a smaller role in Bitter Harvest, based on Patrick Hamilton's novel Twenty Thousand Streets Under the Sky, which was later made into a TV mini-series.
On stage, she appeared in productions of The Pajama Game, Harmony Close, A Chaste Maid in Cheapside, There's a Girl in My Soup, Butterflies are Free, Geneva, Hedda Gabler, Alphabetical Order, Clouds, Moving, Season's Greetings, Stepping Out, Broadway Bound and was the female lead in the controversial Edward Bond play Saved.
