Ayesa Anthea Toure (born 1969 in Islington, London) appeared on Coronation Street intermittently between February and April 1987 as Edwina Turner, a short-term employee at Jim's Cafe.
Her other credits included roles in Gruey, How We Used to Live, G.B.H., Civvies, Medics, Men of the World, The Bill and the BBC serial Brothers and Sisters.
On stage, she appeared in a production of Victor and the Ladies at the Kiln Theatre, Kilburn.
She later left the acting profession and became a writer and barrister.
