Arthur William Whybrow (born 20th August 1923 in Islington, London; died 23rd April 2009 in Stratford-upon-Avon) appeared on Coronation Street in June 1971 as Reg, the chauffeur who drove the Mayor and Mayoress of Weatherfield to open the new Community Centre.
He also appeared in The Doctors, Time of Your Life, State of Emergency, Johnny Jarvis, Now and Then, Miracles Take Longer, Minder, The Bill, Wish Me Luck, Gone to the Dogs, Full Stretch, As Time Goes By, Casualty, Johnny and the Dead, Neverwhere, A Perfect State and Rosemary & Thyme.
Film appearances included Take It or Leave It, Giro City, Xtro, The Wicked Lady, Personal Services, Wilde, Face, The Last Minute and Spider.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Coriolanus, Julius Caesar, Antony and Cleopatra, Titus Andronicus, Duck Song, The Bewitched, Henry IV, Henry V, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Changeling and Old Time Music Hall for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Other works include Death of a Salesman, You Can't Take It with You, Court in the Act, Charley's Aunt, The Baker's Wife and The Crucible.
