Arthur Hewlett (born Southampton, 12th March 1907, died London, 25th February 1997) appeared in Coronation Street in two roles: in July 1965 as Mr Spiderwick; and as Albert Tatlock's wartime pal Aaron Moore in April and November 1968.

His television career began in the late 1940s and he appeared in many programmes including BBC Sunday-Night Theatre, The Grove Family, Quatermass and the Pit, The Avengers, The Odd Man. The Saint, No Hiding Place, Castle Haven, Emmerdale Farm, Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color , Crown Court, The Black Adder, Doctor Who and Screen Two.

Film roles include Reach for Glory, One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing and Personal Services.
