Arthur Hewlett (born 12th March 1907 in Southampton, died 25th February 1997 in Camden, London) appeared in Coronation Street in two roles: firstly as coin dealer Mr Spiderwick who valued Albert Tatlock's collection in July 1965; and he returned to the programme in April and November 1968 as Aaron Moore, an old wartime friend of Albert.

His television career began in the late 1940s and he appeared in many programmes including The Grove Family, Harpers West One, No Hiding Place, Hugh and I, The Valiant Varneys, Eugenie Grandet, The Troubleshooters, The Newcomers, The Jazz Age, Detective, Castle Haven, Emmerdale Farm, Disneyland, Crown Court, Doctor Who, That's My Boy, Bleak House, Moondial and Class Act.

Film roles include The Gentle Trap, Reach for Glory, Three Bites of the Apple, The Pied Piper, Man About the House, One of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing, James and the Giant Peach, Personal Services and Little Dorrit.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Alias Jimmy Valentine, The Amazing Dr Clitterhouse, Bird in Hand, Arms and the Man, The Way Things Go, The Manor of Northstead, Tea Party and The Beastly Beatitudes of Balthaza B.
