Arthur Grimshaw was the father of Elsie Tanner and Fay Butler and grandfather toLinda Cheveski, Dennis Tanner, Gary Bailey, Bernard Butler and Sandra Butler. He was married to Alice Grimshaw, and had a difficult and possibly abusive relationship with his daughters.
References to Arthur's relationship with Elsie were hinted at in 'Coronation Street at War' by Daran Little.
