Arnold Jenkinson was a developer who contracted Len Fairclough for a job knocking four old shops in Rosamund Street into one big one in 1965. A few days after hiring Len, Jenkinson received a visit from Willie Piggott, who informed him that Len would be doing a job for him in Blackburn instead. This caused Jenkinson to terminate the contract and sign Roscoe & Pitts instead. Len was furious to receive the call from Mr. Jenkinson, as he had already turned Piggott down.
