Anthony Crank (born 13th April 1974 in Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly as a police officer between January and April 2011, before returning to the programme intermittently between March 2022 and May 2024 as drug supplier Dean Turnbull.

Drama-trained at the Oldham Theatre Workshop, he subsequently moved to London and gained employment in writing for magazines - ultimately leading to the post of celebrity editor for OK!. Work as a presenter soon followed on Channel 4's youth programming slot T4, MTV, Holiday, Holiday Hit Squad, Departure Lounge and Bingo Night Live.

Following a return to Manchester pursuing an acting career, his other credits include roles in Hollyoaks (and its spin-off The Morning After the Night Before), Accused, Shameless and The Syndicate. On film, he has appeared in Poor Wee Me and the short Lucy Lightfoot.

Dedicated and passionate for LGBT+ advocacy, Anthony has worked closely with Manchester Pride, Queer Up North and the LGF on various projects and hosting live events and festivals, including the much-lauded Big Weekend Pride events over a number of years.
